Dr. Wayne R. Bidlack specializes in the areas of nutrition and food science with interests in pharmacology, toxicology and biochemistry. Dr. Bidlack has been in academia for more than 20 years as a Professor of Pharmacology and Nutrition and of Food Science and Human Nutrition. He is currently the Dean of the College of Agriculture at California State Polytechnic University. In 1990, Dr. Bidlack received the Meritorious Service Award from the California Dietetic Association and the Distinguished Achievement Award from the Southern California Institute of Food Technologists. His professional affiliations include memberships in the International Life Sciences Institute, Society of Toxicology, American College of Nutrition, and others; he has been a Professional member of the Institution of Food Technologists for more than 25 years. Dr. Bidlack holds a Ph.D. in Biochemistry as well as a M.S. in Food Science and Technology and has published more than 55 articles in peer-reviewed journals, 12 book chapters, and edited 6 books.

Dr. Nino M. Binns is an expert in the areas of nutrition and regulatory affairs, and is particularly knowledgeable about the European food regulatory environment. Hailing from Great Britain, Dr. Binns has more than 25 years of experience with such high profile companies as McNeil Nutritionals (part of Johnson & Johnson), Pfizer Inc., Coca-Cola, Tate & Lyle, and Beecham Products (part of GlaxoSmithKline). She was a member of the ILSI (International Life Sciences Institute) Europe Scientific Committee on Nutrition, and is a member of the Nutrition Society and the Advisory Board to the Northern Ireland Centre for Diet and Health. Dr. Binns holds a Ph.D in Nutrition and has served in academia as a Visiting Professor at the University of Ulster at Coleraine.

Samuel S. Epstein, M.D., D.Path., D.T.M&H, is an internationally recognized authority on the toxic and carcinogenic effects of environmental pollutants, ingredients and contaminants in consumer products, and the avoidable causes of cancer. He is professor emeritus of Environmental and Occupational Medicine at the University of Illinois School of Public Health and the Chairman of the Cancer Prevention Coalition. Dr. Epstein has published 270 peer reviewed articles and authored or co-authored 12 books and has received numerous honors, including the 1969 Society of Toxicology Achievement Award; the 1989 Environmental Justice Award; and the 1998 Right Livelihood Award. Dr. Epstein has served as the President of the Society for Occupational and Environmental Health and is the founder of the Cancer Prevention Coalition in addition to many other public policy endeavors.

Dr. Robert A. Harper is a personal care expert with more than 25 years of experience in clinical and scientific research, product development, and product safety, in both university and industry settings. Dr. Harper's specific expertise is in dermatology, including basic skin research and new technology. He holds a Ph.D. in Biochemistry, is a member of the American Academy of Dermatology, and has published 38 articles in peer-reviewed journals.

A. Wallace Hayes, PhD, DABT, FATS, FIBiol, FACFE, ERT, CNS, is a distinguished board-certified toxicologist with more than 40 years of experience in academia and industry. Dr. Hayes’ impressive academic career includes more than 200 peer-reviewed publications. He is the editor of the textbook, Principles and Methods of Toxicology, 5th edition, the premier reference work in its field, as well as the international Journal of Human and Experimental Toxicology and the Journal of Toxicology-Cutaneous and Ocular Toxicology. Dr. Hayes is an adjunct professor at Wake Forest University of Medicine, the University of Louisville School of Medicine, and the School of Public Health at the University of Massachusetts; he also lectures at the Harvard School of Public Health where he is a visiting scientist. He previously served as Vice President of Corporate Product Integrity at the Gillette Company for 10 years. Dr. Hayes received his AB from Emory University and his MS in physiology and PhD in biochemistry from Auburn University. He is in his second term as the Secretary General of the International Union of Toxicology and has served on committees and expert panels for the National Academy of Sciences, the National Institutions of Health, the Environmental Protection Agency and the Department of Defense as well as on several international expert panels.
